Current Vacancies

Objective:

To develop, maintain and strengthen KFAS’s partnerships with local scientific research institutions and universities in order to support KFAS’ programs to operate more effectively and efficiently and in compliance with the agreements, bylaws and policies and procedures with local partners.

The Position/Job Description:

  • Reports to Manager – International Relations & Strategic Partnerships
  • Identify and propose new local partnerships ensuring that all agreements promote KFAS in developing the scientific, technology and innovation (STI) system in Kuwait through the strategic thrust programs.
  • Monitor the existing partnership and assessment of the compliance of all parties involved with the agreed upon terms and conditions.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of establishing the agreements with local partners, including the negotiation of terms and conditions, financial dimensions in order to secure the best terms of KFAS.
  • Support in identifying opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices while considering international leading practices, improvement of business processes, and cost reduction and providing recommendation to the Manager – International Relations & Strategic Partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 8-10 years’ experience working with relevant local institutions
  • Experience in a funding institution of a similar size and nature is desirable
  • Post for Kuwaiti Nationals

Objective:

To implement the Learning and Human Development in order to enhance the STI capabilities, improve productivity and foster awareness for the both local SMEs and Shareholders.

The Position/Job Description:

  •  Reports to Program Manager – Learning and Human Development.
  •  Assist in the preparation of reports on the performance of the Learning and Human Development Program against established program KPIs to assist the Strategic Planning &  Evaluation Department in evaluating the effectiveness of the Learning and Human Development Program.
  • Execute program activities according to approved workplans, budgets, and KPIs.

  • Collaborate with the Program Manager and engage with local SMEs and STI Institutions in the State of Kuwait in order to understand the Learning and Human Development landscape and consequently identify areas of improvement and effective mechanisms to bridge the gap between the current state and the desired outcomes.

  • Assist in the formation of an informal network of scientists and professionals to act as advocates for Learning and Human Development and support in the development of targeted development initiatives for Kuwait’s SMEs to support in driving their development journey.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics or Training and Development
  • 10 years’ experience within the corporate environment
  • Experience in human resources training and development, in workforce training and education (preferred)
  • Experience in managing training projects (preferred)
  • Kuwaiti applicant

Objective:

Drive and Support the Professional Development Program department business objectives through sales, client management and building long term partnerships.

The Position/Job Description:

  • Support objectives and growth of the PDP department through successful B2B strategy
  • Ensure continuous understanding of industry changes and developments in learning and training (focus on e-learning)
  • Follow up with Key industries and news to understand market training and development demands in Kuwait and the ME region
  • The operational tasks for the PDP specialist is to identify and build relations with potential clients to introduce KFAS Academy and understand their training and development needs. Once identified, you will work with relevant departments to help create, develop and implement agreed solutions to meet the needs of KFAS Academy clients. Follow up to ensure successful implementation, client satisfaction and sustained interest and achieving set sales targets will be high priority for successful execution of the job role
  • Develop and grow a database of clients to sell KFAS Academy own inhouse developed courses.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders for smooth and improved operations
  • Advise on customer feedback and operations to help improve and develop customer experience

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in field related to business, management or training or Engineering
